Kapitalisme Yang Tersedia Lemah

Kegagalan Kapitalisme pernah diutarakan oleh John Maynard Keynes, pada 22 Jun 1930, sebagai reaksi kepada krisis kewangan yang mungkin berlaku, yang akhirnya menyebabkan kesan yang signifikan kpd beberapa buah bank besar di dunia spt Bank of United States dan Creditanstalt (bank paling besar di Austrias). Katanya:

"We are today in the middle of greatest catastrophe due almost to entirely economic... causes of the modern world. I am told that the view is held in Moscow that this the last, the culminating crisis of capitalism, and that our existing order of society will not survive it"

Begitu juga, seorang sejarahwan Arnold Toynbee dalam satu majlis di Royal Institute of International Affairs pernah berkata:

"In 931, men and women all over the world were seriously contemplating and frankly discussing the possibility that the western sytem of society might break down and cease to work"
